Question Time offers the opportunity to connect those who are just starting out, to those at the top of their respective industries. At daisie we want to break down the hierarchical nature of creative industries, by making those who excel in their craft more accessible. This we hope, will lead to more innovative collaborations from creators of all different backgrounds and experiences, hence creating more diversity in the work we see.

QTs will dive deep into your favourite actors, painters, musicians, designers, authors, photographers; allowing you a unique perspective into their path to success. We will regularly invite Industry Leaders to take part in Q&As on the app, which will specifically focus on their place in the industry and advice that they have for the next generation of creative talent. Users can submit questions once the QT is live and the industry leader will answer the most significant & the ones that they feel they have a good answer for. At the end of the session a task will be set specific to the industry and host. For example, Kit Harington (confirmed) could set this task: “Create a short film centralised around the themes in Episode 7, Season 7 of Game Of Thrones.” We will then shoot a short film with the QT host, telling the audience more about their story as well as including a section where they will review the task submissions. In the film, they'll select their favourite submissions and become a collaborator on the 'winning' project, exposing it to a huge audience.

For our first Question Time we filmed our Co-Founder Maisie Williams, known for her portrayal of Arya Stark in the television series Game of Thrones. Maisie has also had a recurring role in Doctor Who as Ashildr in 2015. In addition to television, she made her feature film debut in the mystery The Falling (2014). In 2019, Williams is set to star as Wolfsbane in the superhero film New Mutants.

During Maisie's QT she breaks down her route into the industry, offers advice for those trying to recreate her success, and provides feedback on the actors and actresses she’s worked with. Maisie also takes the time to explain why she built daisie and gives her perspective on why she built daisie and how it can have a positive impact on the wider community, as well as the part that Question Times will play in this progression.
